Patagonia

What began as a simple bond formed over beers around a campfire eventually led us to the Patagonia office and straight to Yvon Chouinard’s desk. Since then, we’ve captured a collection of seemingly random images that have found their way into countless Patagonia catalogs, retail displays, and social media posts.

Our first shoot centered on a story about mushroom hunting by mountain bike—how riding lets you reach deeper into the woods than most hikers, opening access to hidden pockets of fungi. The plan was to pair the images with recipes for the mushrooms we found. The project hasn’t fully come to life yet, but the imagery has appeared on Patagonia’s social media.

Having been part of the Trans-Cascadia team from the beginning, I helped bring Patagonia on as a race sponsor. That connection led to several of my shots appearing in the catalog, in store merchandising, and across social media.

We produced a backyard farm shoot for the newly launched Patagonia Workwear line, with the images featured in the catalog and across social media.
